This document provides guidance for users to effectively utilize their Texting app within ProConnect with Webex.

Sending a SMS or MMS Text Message

You can send and receive text messages directly in Webex.

    1. Tap the Plus icon in the bottom right of the Messages tab.

    1. In the Send New Text Message view, enter the recipient’s phone number.
    2. Type your message in the Type a message field. You can add emojis or attachments
      Note: Ensure your carrier supports the file type)

    1. Tap the blue arrow button to send the message.

    1. The sent message appears in your Messages list, showing the first line of your text.

    1. Tap any message to open the conversation history with that contact or group. You can send new messages from this view.

    1. Tap the contact icon to save the number as a contact.

    1. In the contact window, add details like name, email, or an image (only the phone number is required). Tap the green checkmark to save.
    2. To delete a contact, tap the red trash can icon. Deleted contacts can still send messages, but only their number will display. ).

Contacts are private to you. No one else can view or edit them
