Introduction

CCI Anywhere (sometimes simply called "Anywhere") is a Mobility feature that allows calls placed to a user’s office phone to ring any phone(s) set up under the "Anywhere" feature. Most users designate their mobile phone as their "Anywhere phone."

1.

Set Up Office Anywhere

  1. From the main dashboard, click Office Anywhere.
  1. It will take you to the Anywhere Setup page.
  1. To add a number, click the Plus icon on the Phone number table header. The edit phone number dialog box will appear.
  1. Proceed to enter the phone number you wish to add, along with the description in the appropriate fields.
  1. For each Number you add, you can enable specific options, including:
    1. Is Active - Select this option to activate this phone number to ring when someone calls your office phone number.
    2. Use Diversion Inhibitor - Select this option to prevent your voicemail from picking up before your call can be transferred to your Office Anywhere number. This is especially useful when services like Simultaneous Ring and Sequential Ring are enabled, and one of the lines has voicemail pickup set for two rings. In this case, this feature continues to ring all the lines past the two rings and not transfer the call to voicemail. Select this option to prevent your "Anywhere" location (e.g. your mobile phone) from forwarding incoming business calls or sending them directly to voicemail if you have Do Not Disturb (DND) turned "ON.”
    3. Answer Confirmation Required - When selected, this option prevents calls from inadvertently going to the mobile phone’s voicemail box when the call is unanswered, the mobile phone is off, or does not have cell coverage. The caller will only be connected after the user picks up and presses any digit on the keypad. Note: If turned "ON,” this option can help the user distinguish incoming business calls from personal ones. This option could be cumbersome while driving
    4. Call Control - This option allows users to enter ProConnect Feature Access Codes (FACs) while on the call to use features like call transfer and call hold from their personal phone.
  2. Click Save.
  3. To set the Anywhere Settings, click on the Settings icon. The settings window will appear.
  1. If you would like all phones that have been set up as Anywhere phones to be alerted when you place Click-to-Dial Calls, click the settings button, then proceed to select Alert all enabled Locations for Click-to-Dial.
  2. Additionally, if you would like all phones that have been set up as Anywhere phones to be alerted when you receive Group Pages, select Alert all enabled Locations for Group Paging.
  3. Click Save when complete.
